SCIENCE DEMONSTARTION LECTURE This programmes was evolved for providing exposure to the teachers on the effectiveness of simple experimental demostrations made out of low cost materials and hand tools in the classroom. This method is conductive to interative learning through the process of raising question. making observation, logical reasoning and arriving at inferences of postulates of basic scientific principles. 
CREATIVE ABILITY CAMP Creativity is the unique mental process which results in an original and novel product. The students are provided satisfactory and necessary guidance to develop their innovative ideas into a meaningful kit/model. CAC is a nodal point for all those students who have desire to excel, curiosity & sincere efforts towards doing something new in a constructive manner.  
FILM SHOWS Regional Science Centre, Lucknow time to time organises Science Film Festivals in the Centre. Different topics like Universe, Space, Pollution, Soil, Computers, Electronics, Environment, Wild Life, Health etc. are shown & explianed by means of good scientific films to the students.
POPULAR SCIENCE LECTURE Popular lecture by eminent personality in area of growing concern is organised by the Centre time to time. The lecture is supplemented usually by audio-video show. The students/ teachers update their knowledge & may also interact to clear their doubts.
TARAMANDAL SHOWS This is a mini portable planetarium with an inflatable dome, to accommodate 30 visitors and they all can interact with the explainer. The 30 minutes show leaves them spell bound with the unique experience.
SCIENCE QUIZ This is an important event of Regional Science Centre for the school students of Lucknow. Experiment based quiz is organized with the objective of supplementing school curriculum and developing better understanding of science subjects.
SKY OBSERVATION PROGRAMME The vast surrounding space is called Universe. The universe includes everything that exists: the stars, planets, satellites & our own earth & all objects on it. But the most beautiful & intelligent creature on earth is Man! We, human beings always eager to know how, why, what, when about this universe & have been doing uninterrupted observations/ researches using the the then existing instruments/ tools/ technology. The main objective of this program is to inculcate awareness about astronomical phenomena, latest development, discovery and to know new theories about different areas of astronomy to the general public & students/ teachers.
SCIENCE DRAMA FESTIVAL The concept of institutionalizing the Science Drama contests arose from the effectiveness with which the massage of Science could be communicated through enactment of play. This has become more effective if children get involved into such play. This programme is organized to encourage the students, teachers and other science communicators to explore and experiment with the dramatic form as a mean of communication. Theatre or drama is an age-old cultural form of our society, which has been used through ages for entertainment, recreation and also as a medium of social interaction. In other words, directing the society in an indirect way, thus bringing a social change. By understanding the effectiveness of this medium and also to involve more youngsters to participate in this creative medium, an attempt is made to organise a science drama festival. Initially the festival will be held in the unit level, Zonal level and eventually it will be at the National level at Kolkata. Thus bring the students of different states, languages, and culture to interact, exchange and explore this medium of education-THEATRE.
COMMEMORATIVE EVENTS In order to make people aware and appreciate the personalities behind the scientific development and to remember the events leading to discoveries and inventions We also commemorate various special days like World Health Day, World Telecommunication Day, World Environment Day, World Population Day, World Aids Day, World Ozone Day, World No Tobacco Day etc. in association with related Govt. organisations/ NGO's/private establishments in which a number of students from different schools of Delhi participate in a daylong programme.
COLLABORATIVE PROGRAMMES This is the demand of time that we have to work now globally. The world is shrinking due to rapid change in technology. There is a need to exchange our ideas, thinking, views on a common platform for the betterment of humanity. Not only, we have to work at national level, but also we should leave no stone unturned at international level in order to give a good shape to the younger minds.
